Responsibilities

- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.

- Mentor children through challenges, providing guidance and positive reinforcement to foster confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and other professionals to develop individualized support plans.
- Support educational activities by helping children with homework or learning exercises.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and activities to ensure clear communication and accountability.
Skills
- Experience working with children or in a caregiving/support role is highly desirable.
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
- Teaching abilities that enable effective communication of concepts and skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, families, and team members.
