About the Role
We are seeking a confident and professional Wedding Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is focused purely on coordinating weddings and events on the day itself – ensuring everything runs smoothly from guest arrival through to the evening celebrations. You’ll be the go-to person for the couple, guests, staff and suppliers, helping to deliver a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the running of the wedding day, acting as the main point of contact for the couple and venue.
- Oversee set-up of dining areas, décor, and catering requirements in line with plans provided.
- Manage the catering and front-of-house team during service, ensuring timings are followed.
- Liaise with suppliers and venue staff to coordinate logistics on the day.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any last-minute issues calmly and professionally.
- Provide clear direction and support to service staff.
- Ensure a smooth handover at the end of the event and assist with breakdown.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or weddings (desirable).
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent people skills with the confidence to manage staff and interact with clients.
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
- Flexible approach to hours, with availability on weekends and evenings.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
