Overview
We are seeking experienced UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) Fitters to join our dynamic team and contribute to the assembly, maintenance, and repair of cutting-edge drone systems. As an UAV Fitter, you will play a vital part in supporting our mission to deliver reliable, high-performance drone solutions for a variety of applications. Duties
- Assemble UAV components using hand tools and power tools with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of drone systems to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Perform maintenance tasks including replacing parts, calibrating equipment, and ensuring operational readiness
- Follow detailed technical manuals and safety procedures during assembly and repairs
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement modifications or upgrades on drone platforms
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, parts used, and system diagnostics
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UAV fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly role involving drones or aerospace equipment, for both electric, ICE/ and Jet systems fitting into composite or aluminium airframes.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and precision instruments
- Experience working with power tools safely and effectively in a workshop setting
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or training related to mechanical assembly or UAV systems are a plus

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
