Warrior Coach Roles
The role of a Warrior Coach is to inspire and motivate all Warriors Fitness members, be an ambassador for the studio at all times and be part of the community.
The Coach should ensure the coaching within Warriors Fitness promotes fitness, enjoyment and allows individuals to perform to the highest standard they can.
Responsible for: Member/Client Experience/Customer Service
General Duties
- To be responsible for offering expert advice and clarity with a “help-first” mindset in all situations.
- To be a pillar of the Warriors Community, upholding its high standards of excellence in everything we do.
- Ensure that attendance of members and clients is marked on our booking system
- To be responsible for the tidiness and cleanliness every time you are at the gym (studio reset in between clients).
- To ensure that knowledge, skills and qualifications are kept up to date.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, looked after, cleaned and stored correctly.
Coaching duties
· To be responsible for the coaching sessions of clients which involves:
o Preparing training session by reading the session planned with the client(s).
o Watching any videos attached to this training plan.
o Watch, study or revise any particular topic/subject/movement which you feel you need a refresh for or that you feel you need to coach better (think about your coaching cues).
- To be responsible for the small group coaching sessions of clients which involves:
o Be able to rationalise and justify all exercise and workout decisions based upon the clients’ unique goals and criteria.
o Work in tandem with the client’s Nutrition Coach (if applicable) to ensure the client is working towards their desired outcomes.
- To be responsible for the welfare of individual members during coaching sessions.
- To be responsible for starting and finishing training on time.
- To be responsible for client experience.
- To be responsible for coaching, encouraging and cuing members during their workout.
· To effectively coach and bring the best out in all members.
· To maintain high ethical standards in Coaching.
Administration duties
· Ensuring the client is correctly set-up on our admin app (correct name, email, phone number) with the correct package and the first payment is been processed.
· Ensuring that clients are familiar with the booking system
· Check Open Gym, Small Group Personal Training (SGPT), 1-2-1 sessions and consultation bookings the day before if possible.
Other essential duties
· Knows how to perform basic cleaning tasks (hoovering, wiping equipment…)
. Must be a “team player”.
· Must be good at communicating with the rest of the coaches.
· Must be willing to workout regularly
· Must have the ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple ongoing tasks.
· Must be highly motivated and responsible.
· To report any defects or faults in any equipment to Laura or Mika.
· To be responsible for all equipment care and correct operation.
· To be responsible for your uniform & representation
· To feedback to admin person any changing requirements/availability.
