We are a small growing family business. We work primarily, but not exclusively, in the public sector providing joinery and construction services. We employ qualified joiners as well as apprentices.
We are looking to increase our office staff and seeking someone to take up a part time role. The role is office based and will initially be 20-25 hours per week and therefore may suit someone who is semi-retired and looking for part time work, or someone who wants to work their hours around child care.
The role will include, but is not limited to, the following:
· Health & Safety lead – manage our online H&S system to ensure the company is compliant on all H&S matters
· Health & safety training lead - co-ordinate and manage team training through training plans and scheduling
· Complete annual Health & Safety returns
· Preparing risk assessments using our online portal
· Preparing customer quotes using existing templates
· Tracking of minor works using Excel spreadsheets
· Tracking of various other costs using Excel spreadsheets
· Assisting with deliveries as required
The skills needed for the role include:
· Good Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel and Word
· Ability to work on online systems
· Good organiser
· Professional image
· Good timekeeper
· Supportive to other staff
· Full driving licence
The role is new so there is opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their own role.
The role is available for immediate start.
