Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Spiral Manufacturer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves the precise assembly and production of spiral components, contributing to the creation of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a keen eye for detail and used a spiral machine before. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic industrial environment.
Duties
- Assemble spiral components using specialised tools and equipment in accordance with technical specifications
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during assembly processes
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment within the warehouse
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during manufacturing activities
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and saws is desirable
- Previous assembly experience within a manufacturing or warehouse setting is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
