I run a local locksmith service and I'm looking for someone confident to run a small stall in High Wycombe town centre. The job is simple: you sit or stand at a table in a busy spot, approach and talk to people walking past, and let them know about the service. If someone needs a locksmith or might need one down the line, discuss our services and how you can contact us. That's the whole job. No experience needed, just someone happy to talk to strangers and reliable enough to turn up when they say they will.
This is casual, part-time work, a few hours at a time, two or three days a week. Good fit for a student or recent graduate after some regular cash over the week.
What you'll be doing
- Running a small table stall in the town centre
- Chatting to people walking past and telling them about the service
- Giving away a free drink to people
- Keeping the stall tidy and set up properly during your shift
- Letting me know how each shift went, roughly how many people you spoke to and any interest
What you need
- Must be 18 or over
- Confident and comfortable starting conversations with people you don't know
- Reliable, you turn up on time and do the hours you agreed
- Presentable and friendly, since you're the face people see
- Able to work on your own without someone stood over you
Nice to have, not essential
- Any past experience in promo work, retail, hospitality, or anything customer-facing
- Living in or near High Wycombe so getting to town is easy
Hours and pay
- Two or three days a week, a few hours each shift
- £12.60 an hour, paid weekly
- Immediate start
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Benefits:
Work Location: In person
