As Day Duty Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of front office and wider guest services, assisting the Guest Services Manager. You will play a key part in delivering prompt exceptional customer service to our internal and external guests in order that the most professional and caring imagine is portrayed at all times. Working as part of the Guest Services Team you will demonstrate a warm welcome, friendly manner, while ensuring the full procedures are understood by the team and followed for every guest every time.
Some key duties for this great role:
- Cash handling, daily banking and management of hotel safe
- Carrying out duty manager shifts and being fully conversant with the company FLS procedures;
- Hotel security and health and safety procedures
- Checking guests in and out to standard and training the team
- Dealing with guest comments, feedback and issues. Seeking solutions and liaising with other departments
- Assisting with the departmental payroll, recruitment, team development and training.
- Taking on a pro-active approach to achieving departmental targets, such as up selling etc;
About you:
- You are an enthusiastic, upbeat, energetic and engaging individual.
- background in Apart Hotels, Front Office, and experience with MEWS PMS preferable but not a necessity;
- The candidate must be highly focused, have excellent communication skills, be motivated and professional in appearance and presentation
- You should be a self-starter with attention to detail and a passion for customer service
- The candidate will have the ability to motivate, appraise, support and challenge to deliver performance on a daily basis
