- Promoting Independence: Helping service users develop skills for life, such as cooking, managing money, and shopping for everyday essentials

- Dignified Personal Care: Providing assistance with hygiene (washing, dressing, toileting) when specified in the care plan, always prioritising autonomy.

Role 1: Specialist Support Worker (Female Only)
Focus: Facilitating an independent, vibrant life for a young lady with complex physical needs.
- Contract: Full-time (Fixed Rota: 1 Week On / 1 Week Off)
- Requirements: Female applicants only (in accordance with EHRC guidance and the Equality Act 2010)
- Full UK Driving License (essential for driving an adapted vehicle).
- Key Responsibilities: Acting as a driver/companion, expert physical support, and managing a calm, sensory-focused environment.
Shift Pattern (The "On" Week - 90 Hours Total):
- Mon / Fri / Sat / Sun: 7:00am – 10:00pm (Inc. Sleep-in)
- Tue / Wed / Thu: 7am–10am & 3pm–10pm (Split Shift inc. Sleep-in)
Role 2: Support Worker: Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Shared Accommodation
Contract: 31 Hours per Week (Part-Time)

You will be the stable, supportive presence that helps these individuals navigate their daily lives and emotional wellbeing.
The Role: Person-Centred & Adaptive Support
You will provide tailored assistance based on the unique personalities and clinical needs of those you support:
- Mental Health Advocacy: Providing emotional guidance and stability within a shared accommodation setting.
- Active Presence: Providing meaningful engagement and emotional guidance for an individual who spends their time at home, focusing on their comfort and dignity
- Community Access: Supporting the other individuals to access the community and participate in local activities.
- Health Management: Administering medication and attending health appointments with strict adherence to documentation standards.
Professional Growth & Training

- Core Qualifications: Completion of mandatory training including Oliver McGowan Training on Learning Disability and Autism.
- Specialised Training: You will receive targeted training in Moving & Handling, Positive Behavioural Support (PBS), and Medication

Your Guaranteed Shift Pattern
This role offers a consistent, 31-hour weekly rota:
Thursday + Sleep 9.00am - 10.00pm (13 hours contracted)
Friday 7.00am - 10.00am (3 hours contracted)
Sunday + Sleep 9.00am - 10.00pm (13 hours contracted)
Monday 7.00am - 9.00am (2 hours contracted)
Total: 31 hours contracted plus 2 sleeps
General Requirements
