Team Leader – New Nursing Home Opening (Full-Time)
Location: Burley
Pay: £13.75 per hour

We are excited to be opening a brand-new nursing home in Burley and are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our dedicated team.
Our nursing home will support adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and behaviours that may challenge. As part of our new team, you will play a key role in supporting staff and ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.

Your Role
As a Team Leader, you will support and guide a team of care staff while ensuring residents are supported to live fulfilling lives with choice, independence, and dignity.
You will:
- Lead by example and promote a positive, person-centred culture
- Support, supervise, and develop a team of Support Workers
- Ensure residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate care
- Support with daily routines, activities, and community involvement
- Maintain high standards of care planning, documentation, and compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team to deliver high-quality person-centred care
- Provide guidance, supervision, and support to staff members
- Assist with rota planning, handovers, and daily service organisation
- Support residents with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks where required
- Promote independence, dignity, choice, and respect at all times
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing and report any concerns
- Complete accurate records, care documentation, and reports
- Support with audits, quality checks, and CQC compliance
- Work alongside families, professionals, and external agencies
- Respond appropriately to incidents and support positive outcomes
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience working within health and social care
- Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (desirable)
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex behaviours
- A caring, positive, and solution-focused approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays when required
