We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to help lead one of our busy CGX stores.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys building relationships with customers, and has a passion for driving sales, buying stock, and delivering outstanding service.
At CGX, every day is different. You'll help customers buy great products, sell unwanted items for instant cash, and use our popular buyback service to provide flexible financial solutions.

What You'll Do
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales, profitability and store performance.
- Buy stock from customers confidently, fairly and accurately, helping keep the store well stocked with exciting products.
- Promote our Buy, Sell and Buyback services to maximise every customer opportunity.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience that encourages repeat business.
- Lead, motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales and buying targets.
- Coach and develop colleagues to build confidence, product knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Take responsibility for the day to day running of the store in the Store Manager's absence.
- Ensure the store is well presented, organised and operating efficiently at all times.
- Help recruit, train and welcome new team members into the business.
What We're Looking For
- Previous retail supervisory or management experience.
- A passion for customer service and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Confidence buying from customers and negotiating where appropriate.
- A positive, hands on attitude with the ability to motivate a team.
- Commercial awareness and a desire to grow the business.
