Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring service users comfort, and maintaining effective communication with the care team. Duties
- Assist Service Users with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each service users needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to service users and their families
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
- Communicate effectively with team members, Service Users, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support with light domestic tasks to uphold a clean and safe environment
- Drive between different homes as required, ensuring timely assistance
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive between homes
- Previous experience in a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for clear communication
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach towards Service Users
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
