Monday to Friday – 40 hours
We are seeking a Passive Fire Protection Trainer
Reporting to the Operations Director
Responsibilities:-
Delivering Level 2, and Level 3, Passive Fire Protection courses and assessments following completion.
Course types:
Fire-Rated Cavity Barriers
Fire Doors
Fire-Rated Ductwork and Dampers
Fire-Rated Glazing Screens
Intumescent Fire Protection
Penetration Sealing Systems
Spray Steel Fire Protection
Fire-Rated Steel Doors
Steel Fire Protection
Fire-Rated Partitions and Ceiling Systems
The person must have a proven track record of training people, and have excellent communication skills.
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, PDF and Outlook.
Must have knowledge of Fire Legislation, Passive Fire Protection and Building Regulations
Essential: Full Driving License
Qualifications desirable:
IFE Level 3 Passive Fire Protection
Level 3 awards in passive fire protection and inspection
The Fire Stopping Inspection Course
FDIS Diploma
CERTFDIS
The Fire Door Inspection Course
Assessor Awards
IQA Awards
Train the Trainer
PTTLS
This position may require the need to travel and work away to deliver training courses.
Update training materials in line with current Regulations and products, attend trade shows to discuss benefits of training with prospective clients.
Key tasks include but would not be limited to:
Be responsible for all training delivery including internal staff training in relation to passive fire protection. Ensure accreditations are kept up to date and our procedures are followed in relation to training deliverance.
Benefits:-
Salary up to £60,000.00 per annum
Mileage paid or company vehicle provided
23 holidays per year plus bank holidays, additional holidays for additional years of service.

We also will provide training in passive fire protection areas where required.
