About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction & Programming Team within Property Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the quantity surveying function across a diverse portfolio of construction projects that support communities throughout Lancashire. Representing the client, you will play a key role in delivering a £50m+ capital programme, investing in schools, libraries, museums, residential care facilities, office accommodation and other public buildings.
Working within a multidisciplinary Property Service alongside Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors, CDM professionals and external partners, you will help deliver high-quality construction projects through partnering frameworks and competitive tendering arrangements.

About You
We are looking for a proactive and organised professional who:
- Holds a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Has substantial experience delivering construction projects within a quantity surveying role
- Demonstrates strong project leadership and organisational skills
- Has experience managing project budgets, costs and procurement activities
- Can provide clear and authoritative professional advice at all levels
- Possesses excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Works effectively within multidisciplinary teams and collaborative environments
- Can manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Understands contract administration and construction industry best practice
- Is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for clients and communities
