Overview
We are seeking a Part Time dedicated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our small friendly team based in Allestree on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, strong organisational abilities, and effective communication skills to support our team in delivering high-quality dental services.
We are a fully Private Practice and offer a range of Private treatments including Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics. We are a three-surgery practice consisting of 4 dentists and 2 hygienists
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Support infection control protocols by sterilising instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Offer compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and providing reassurance throughout their visit
Experience
- Knowledge of patient care procedures specific to dentistry
- Proficiency in IT systems related to dental record management and appointment scheduling
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and external providers
- Organisational skills necessary for managing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Fluency in English is essential for clear communication with patients and team members
