Full Time Games Master, London and Surrounding Areas
Pop Up Arcade is one of the UK's most established mobile gaming events companies. We've delivered over 20,000 events, earned thousands of five star reviews, set up a booth at Comic-Con, and run promotional work for Hollywood studios including Warner Brothers. We currently run more than 400 events a month.
Giving back matters to us. Through the Pop Up Arcade Foundation we partner with Make-A-Wish, George and the Giant Pledge, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, and we've hosted over 200 pay what you can parties for families who couldn't otherwise afford one.
We're hiring a permanent full time Games Master to bring our gaming events directly to customers across London and up to an hour outside the M25. You'll be based from home with your own company pool car and full kit of equipment, heading straight out to events without a daily commute. You'll run kids' parties, corporate events, and Pop Up Arcade Foundation events.
Job Responsibilities
- Travelling in a company vehicle to the customer's location, anywhere in London and up to 60 minutes outside the M25.
- Setting up gaming equipment inside the customer's house, in their garden using our gaming tent, or in a hired venue of their choice.
- Running the event, which may include setting up mini tournaments or simply playing the games alongside participants, ensuring everyone gets the most out of the experience.
- Maintaining your pool car and equipment ready for events, making sure controllers are charged and games are updated. Full training provided.

Your Qualifications
- Full UK driver's licence with no more than six points.
- Genuine passion for gaming. You don't need to know every game on the market for every console, but a passion for gaming is a must.
- Enjoy working with kids of all ages.
- Ability to create a fun, happy, and exciting environment.
- Ability to work independently.
The Details
- Job Type: Full time
- Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, or Friday to Tuesday. 30 to 40 hour contracts. Day shifts with occasional evenings.
- Salary: Starting salary of £20,280 to £27,040.
