Job Summary
To support the day-to-day manufacturing and production operations of the business, ensuring products and components are prepared, assembled, packed and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation of metal parts for powder coating, including cleaning, checking and hanging components as required.
- Assist with the building and assembly of products in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Pack finished products securely and prepare them for storage or dispatch.
- Load and unload lorries and deliveries using a forklift truck, where authorised and appropriately trained.
- Move materials, components and finished products safely around the production area.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area, including regular housekeeping of production and storage areas.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Check products and components for obvious defects or damage and report any issues to the relevant supervisor.
- Work effectively as part of a team and provide assistance to colleagues when required.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties necessary to support the efficient operation of the business.

- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience preparing parts for powder coating.
- Previous forklift experience and a valid forklift licence/certification.
- Experience in product assembly and packing.

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
