WATERJET MACHINE OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Setting up cutting and supervising waterjet machine
Inspection of cut parts
Dealing with any production problems/breakdowns
Cleaning and packaging of goods
Completion of paperwork
Liasing with CAD staff and other production staff
Working with work /quality sheets
Working to a daily set schedule
General duties
General day-to-day maintenance/cleaning of cutting equipment
Fixing of day to day breakdowns
Replacement of consumable parts
Management of consumable stocks
Shop floor cleanliness
Scrap and material stock management
Working to a computerised schedule General duties
Share in general duties of upkeep of premises
Problem solving
Training will be given on site
39 hours per week plus overtime
The company operates a non-smoking policy within the premises. Please be aware that the post does involve some heavy lifting.
Fork truck license preferred however training will be offered.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
