Operations Manager Property Maintenance & Facilities Support
Location: High Wycombe (head office) but we support sites within 100 miles
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent
Salary: £35,000–£43,500 (Dependent on Experience) plus bonus
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

We’re a fast-growing property maintenance and facilities support company delivering high-quality maintenance, refurbishment and compliance services to commercial and residential clients across the UK.
As our business continues to expand, we’re looking for an organised, proactive and motivated Operations Manager to become the backbone of our day-to-day operations.
This isn’t a typical Operations Management role. You’ll work directly with the Directors, helping to manage engineers, subcontractors, customers and office operations while playing a key role in improving systems and supporting future business growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible ForOperations
· Managing the daily running of the office.
· Coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
· Planning engineer diaries and scheduling works.
· Monitoring job progress and ensuring works are completed efficiently.
· Managing client communication throughout each project.
· Supporting Directors with operational planning and business growth.
· Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
Customer Service
· Acting as the first point of contact for clients.
· Meeting clients at their sites.
· Booking maintenance works.
· Handling customer enquiries professionally.
· Building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
· Providing excellent customer service from enquiry through to completion.
Administration
· Preparing quotations and estimates.
· Raising purchase orders.
· Processing invoices.
· Assisting with bookkeeping and financial administration.
· Maintaining company records and documentation.
· Supporting payroll administration.
· Managing supplier accounts.
· Monitoring company compliance documentation.
People & Business Support
· Supporting recruitment and onboarding.
· Organising engineer documentation and certifications.
· Liaising with subcontractors.
· Ordering materials and office supplies.
· Helping maintain a positive and organised office environment.
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys taking ownership and making things happen.
Ideally you’ll have:
· Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Office Manager, Contracts Administrator, Facilities Coordinator or Senior Administrator role.
· Excellent organisational skills.
· Strong communication skills.
· Confidence managing multiple priorities.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Good commercial awareness.
· High attention to detail.
· A proactive attitude.
· Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer systems.
Experience within property maintenance, construction, facilities management or engineering would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
We may consider training someone for this role depending on the candidate.
