HGV Technician – Whitchurch
Salary: Up to £44,421 per year
Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday – Friday (42.5 hours paid per week after 30-min unpaid break):
- Week 1: 06:30 – 14:00
- Week 2: 13:30 – 22:00
Hourly Rate: £20.10 per hour (based on 42.5 paid hours per week)
OTE: £48,000 – £53,000+ per year (including 3 hours overtime per week at 1.5x)

Overview
We're looking for an HGV Technician to join the team in Whitchurch on a rotating early/late shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
- Liaise with parts department to attain parts
- Complete job cards and service sheets
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
What You'll Need
- Excellent customer service skills
- HGV and PSV licence (desirable but not essential)
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) or proven experience
- Experience in commercial vehicle workshop
