HGV Technician – Wolverhampton
Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, Rotating Shifts
Shifts: Week 1: 07:30 – 16:00 | Week 2: 07:30 – 20:00
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Overtime: Paid at time and a half (over 40 hours)
Earning Potential
Basic Salary: Up to £41,600 per year (based on 40-hour week)
OTE with Overtime: Up to £47,000+ per year
Overview
We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to secure a stable Monday–Friday rotating shift role, with strong overtime earning potential and a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- As an HGV Technician, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy goods vehicles to a high standard.
- Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using modern equipment as part of your duties as an HGV Technician.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with workshop procedures and regulations.
- Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation, and uphold excellent workshop organisation as a professional HGV Technician.
What You’ll Need
- Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds) preferred.
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a commercial workshop setting.
- Strong diagnostic and technical repair skills essential for a competent HGV Technician.
- Full UK driving licence.
