Job Summary
We are seeking a production operative to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing, operating, and monitoring moulding equipment to produce high-quality aerospace components that meet strict safety, quality, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a precision-driven production environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare moulds, materials, inserts, and tooling according to work instructions and production requirements
- Follow detailed manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, routers, and quality standards
- Inspect finished parts for defects, dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and compliance with specifications
- Trim, clean, finish, and prepare moulded parts for the next stage of production
- Accurately complete production records, inspection documentation, and traceability paperwork
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company and aerospace standards
- Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to support continuous improvement
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE, proper handling of materials where applicable
Experience
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, specifications, and production paperwork
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts
- Basic maths and measurement skills
- Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-controlled manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team
This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to machinery, tooling, production materials, and personal protective equipment requirements. Training will be provided for company-specific processes and safety procedures.

Pay: £12.76-£14.58 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
