Are you an independent worker who loves the fresh air and thrives on great customer service? We’re looking for a confident, reliable Shack Assistant to take the reins of our outdoor container, serving up snacks and drinks to our hungry visitors.
The Role
As our Shack Assistant, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operation of our outdoor food container. Your day will include:
- Solo Management: Opening the shack, setting up for the day, and managing the unit independently.
- Customer Service: Greeting guests with a smile and confidently handling orders.
- Food & Drink Prep: Preparing and serving a range of simple food items and beverages
- Transaction Handling: Processing payments accurately using our till system.
- Maintenance: Keeping the shack and the immediate outdoor area clean, tidy, and inviting.
What We’re Looking For
- Confidence: Since you’ll be working alone, you need to be comfortable engaging with customers and managing the flow of service.
- Reliability: You are the "Captain of the Ship" for the shack; we need someone who is punctual and dependable.
- Age Requirement: Candidates must be 18 or older due to the independent nature of the role and the preparation of specific food items.
- Experience: Previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment is a major plus.
Hours & Availability
- Primary Hours: Saturdays and Sundays. ( During half terms and school holidays this will go to 5 days a week)
- Flexibility: You must be available to work during half-terms and school holidays.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
