Mexgrocer is the UK's leading importer and distributor of authentic Mexican food and drink. We supply restaurants, retailers, wholesalers and consumers across the UK through our wholesale operation, nationwide distribution network and online store. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term relationships with our customers.
We're looking for someone to join our busy Customer Services team. This is a varied role where you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring enquiries, orders and deliveries are managed efficiently while providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email, directing requests to the appropriate team members where required.
- Create sales orders for customers placing orders via purchase orders.
- Monitor deliveries and proactively resolve any delivery issues.
- Manage customer returns, including arranging collections, processing credits and ensuring returns are handled efficiently.
- Handle customer queries, damages, shortages and lost parcel claims.
- Liaise with customers, account managers, sales representatives, warehouse teams and management.
- Communicate with courier companies, pallet networks and other logistics providers.
- Complete Trader Support Service (TSS) declarations for shipments to Northern Ireland.
- Organise incoming and outgoing post.
- Provide general administrative support and assist other departments when required.
