About the role
As a Content & Marketing Executive, you will create engaging content that helps tell the story of Get Set UK, our services and the impact we make across communities throughout the UK.
You will work across content creation, social media, design and digital channels, helping to bring campaigns, participant stories, employer partnerships and organisational achievements to life.
This is a practical, delivery-focused role. You will be responsible for creating finished content across multiple formats, from LinkedIn posts and website updates to graphics, presentations and marketing materials.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and can confidently turn a brief into high-quality content with minimal supervision.
What you will do

Create engaging written and visual content for social media, campaigns, websites, email communications and marketing materials

Manage and develop Get Set UK's LinkedIn presence, planning, creating and publishing content aligned to organisational priorities

Create on-brand visual assets using Canva and Adobe tools, including marketing collateral, presentations, reports and social media graphics

Write clear, engaging copy that can be adapted for different audiences, services and communication channels

Build and update website content using WordPress templates and content management systems

Support marketing campaigns across employability, skills, justice, health and careers services

Work with colleagues across the organisation to identify and develop compelling stories, case studies and campaign content

Monitor content performance and use insight to improve future content and campaigns

Keep accurate records and follow required processes

Communicate clearly with participants, colleagues and external partners

Minimum essential criteria
To be considered for this role, you will need to evidence in your CV that you meet the minimum essential criteria below:

Experience creating content across multiple formats, including written and visual content

Experience using Canva to create professional marketing and communications materials

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, to update and produce branded documents and assets
-
Ability to write clear, engaging and audience-appropriate content for a variety of channels
-
Experience managing or contributing to social media channels in a professional environment
-
Experience updating website content using WordPress or a similar content management system
-
Ability to work independently from a brief and deliver high-quality outputs with minimal supervision
-
Good organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
-
Evidence of commitment and follow-through in previous roles, education, volunteering or other responsibilities

Evidence of delivering outcomes, targets, tasks, projects or agreed objectives
-
Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work
-
Ability to explain your employment history clearly, including any gaps or short-term roles
-
Confidence using digital systems, email and Microsoft Office
