Job Summary:
Part time Temporary Contract working 6pm-8pm Monday - Friday
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team. As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment in our nursery setting.
Duties:
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize rooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and waiting rooms
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Adhere to infection control protocols in hospital settings
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and coworkers
