About Us
We are a growing and well-established business providing outsourced client accounting services to letting agents across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering an accurate, reliable and professional service, and due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and detail-focused Client Account Administrator to join our friendly Whitstable team.
The Role
This role would suit someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work, can maintain accuracy under pressure, and is confident learning new systems.
Experience with property software is an advantage, but just as important is a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
You will play an important role in ensuring our clients' accounts are managed accurately and efficiently, working closely with our team to deliver an outstanding service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Rent receipting
- Processing landlord payments
- Managing deposit transfers
- Account reconciliations using property management software
- Preparing end-of-month reports for agents
- Chasing outstanding rent payments
- Handling agent account enquiries
- Ensuring all compliance obligations are met
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting administrative processes
Essential Skills and Experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, hardworking attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Ability to remain focused when carrying out repetitive or detailed work
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical skills and ability to reconcile accounts accurately -
- Excellent communication skills
- A reliable, professional approach with a strong work ethic
Accuracy is essential in this role, as you’ll be handling client money and working to daily deadlines. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being busy and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a lettings, property management or client accounts environment
- Experience using property management software
- Previous accounts administration or bookkeeping experience
Training
Full training will be provided on our systems and processes, making this a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills looking to develop their knowledge of client accounting.
