A chef role with a genuine work-life balance
We’re looking for an experienced Chef to join our established kitchen team in East Yorkshire.
We know that a career in hospitality shouldn’t have to mean working five or six days every week and missing every weekend. That’s why our kitchen teams work a four-day week with rotational weekend leave, alongside a strong salary and benefits package.

About Us
We are an established, independent hospitality business that has been operating successfully in East Yorkshire for more than 13 years.
Our venues include The Triton Inn in Brantingham, The Fox & Coney Inn in South Cave and the food & beverage operation at Brough Golf Club.
We pride ourselves on being a good employer. We want talented people to stay with us, develop with the business and enjoy a sustainable career in hospitality.

- £30,000+ starting salary, depending on experience
- Approximately £4,000 per year in additional tips
- 4% company pension contribution

The Role
We’re looking for a capable, enthusiastic Chef who enjoys working with fresh produce and takes pride in producing consistently good food.
You’ll work as part of an experienced kitchen team, helping to maintain high standards across food preparation, cooking, presentation, cleanliness and food safety.
Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
- Working effectively as part of the wider kitchen team
- Supporting the smooth running of day-to-day kitchen operations
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and food safety standards
- Managing preparation and service during busy periods
- Helping monitor stock levels, wastage and kitchen organisation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment
