We are currently looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Nurses to join friendly and supportive nursery and early years settings across Bradford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and helping them develop in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
As a Nursery Nurse, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0–5.
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children and their families.
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical and educational development.
- Assist with observations, assessments and children’s learning records.
- Encourage children’s confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
- Support children’s personal care needs, including mealtimes, toileting and hygiene where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Work closely with other nursery staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience working in a nursery, childcare or early years environment.
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification is desirable.
- A warm, caring and patient approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- The ability to create positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- An enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
- £93–£100 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
