We're looking for a passionate and ambitious Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in their career. Our venue caters for a busy restaurant, bar service, private events and functions, offering plenty of variety and opportunities to develop your skills. The Junior Sous Chef position is ideal for someone looking to progress to the next step in their career.
The Role
As part of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Running your own section confidently during service.
- Supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations.
- Assisting with menu development and seasonal specials.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Helping to train and support junior members of the team.
- Working across restaurant service, bar food and event catering.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef.
- Is passionate about fresh food and quality ingredients.
- Thrives under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Takes pride in delivering consistently high standards.
- Is reliable, motivated and a strong team player.
- Holds a Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential).
