- Assist with tax planning, preparation, and submission for individual and corporate clients.
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Support clients with financial planning strategies to meet their short-term and long-term objectives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies through meticulous documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits to facilitate smooth review processes.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience working within the financial services sector, particularly in accounting or tax roles.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing accounts payable functions and financial accounting procedures.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the UK market.
- Prior experience in financial planning or advisory services is advantageous but not essential.
