Summary
We are seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our team at our Flagship nursery at Skyline Plaza, Basingstoke. In this role, you will support the educational and emotional development of children in a nurturing environment. Your contributions will help foster independence and confidence in our young learners. The role is for 40 or 45 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities and play opportunities.
- Support children's learning and development through hands-on experiences.
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery setting.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
