We are a well established, prevention focused private dental practice looking for a Receptionist who enjoys being the welcoming face of a calm, patient focused practice.
You’ll be a friendly, organised all rounder who is warm and approachable, communicates with kindness and professionalism, and takes real pride in creating an outstanding first impression for every patient, including those who feel nervous about visiting the dentist.
This role is all about front of house: managing appointments, greeting patients, handling calls and payments, and keeping the day running smoothly for the clinical team, within a close knit, supportive practice.

- Calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent communication and telephone/customer service skills
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable managing appointments, patient records and payments
- Comfortable working within clear systems and protocols
- Proactive, with a positive attitude toward learning new processes
- R4 dental software experience preferred (full training provided)
What we offer
- Supportive, calm and respectful working environment
- Friendly, experienced team; full induction and ongoing 1:1 support
- Excellent work life balance, thoughtfully structured hours and a longer weekend
- Complimentary access to our employer funded compliance platform, DCME, giving you free CPD training resources as part of the team
- Team lunches, occasional outings, complimentary coffee daily
- Convenient parking, excellent public transport links
- Workplace pension; uniform provided; holiday entitlement (pro rata for part time)

- Thu: 8:45am to 1:00pm, 2:00 to 5:15pm
- Fri: 8:45am to 2:15pm
Paid set up time at the start of each day so you can settle in with a coffee before patients arrive. No rush, no hassle.
After probation
EAP (confidential emotional, wellbeing, legal and financial support), virtual GP access, discounted treatment, annual complimentary exam and hygiene visit, and a complimentary annual exam for your children (up to 18).
Salary
£13.50 to £15.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Higher rates considered for candidates with dual reception and nursing capability, private dentistry experience, strong R4 experience, or Denplan Essentials experience.
Start date
September 2026, though we’d welcome the right person sooner.
We don’t rush hiring; before you commit, we offer 1 to 2 shadowing sessions and a paid trial period (approx. 5 to 10 days) so it’s the right fit for both sides.
If you’d like to be part of a practice that genuinely values kindness, professionalism and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.
