About Café Lido
Café Lido is a community café at Portishead Open Air Pool, right on the estuary. We're a welcoming spot for locals, run by a friendly mix of staff and volunteers who care about good coffee and good service.
We're are looking for an experienced Barista with solid experience on professional machines, someone we can rely on maintaining high standards and with a genuine love of good coffee
The Role:
- Permanent part-time: minimum 3 days/week (19.5+ hours)
- Flexibility: Additional hours may be available during busier summer months
- Pay rates: £13.30 per hour
- Holiday Pay: Statutory paid holiday entitlement – pro rata in line with UK law for regular fixed hours
- Duties: Lead coffee service, train staff & volunteers, open/close café
- Typical shifts: 9:30am-5:00pm, includes some weekends
You'll Need:
- Demonstrable barista experience with professional coffee machines
- Previous supervisory experience in hospitality/retail
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (further training supported)
- Friendly, organized, passionate about great coffee
