About Us
Cherry Picked Properties is an agile, professional property management company based in Heald Green. We manage a large portfolio of residential properties across Greater Manchester. To ensure we consistently deliver a premium, timely service to our tenants, we are looking to recruit a dedicated, "in-house" General Maintenance Person to complement our existing team of external contractors.While this is a self-employed contractor role, we have a substantial, continuous volume of work ready to allocate to the right candidate.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
We are seeking an all-around tradesperson. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in each of the following areas:
- Joinery: Fitting, repairs, and general woodwork.
- Basic Electrics: Changing fixtures, fittings, and minor fault-finding.
- Plumbing: Accurate leak sourcing and day-to-day repairs.
- Decorating & Plastering: Preparing surfaces, painting, and patch plastering.
- General Handyperson Duties: Changing locks, furniture assembly, gardening, and managing house clearances.
- Refurbishment: Assisting with light property refurbishment programs from time to time.
Candidate Requirements
- Autonomy: Ability to work alone using your own initiative.
- Organisation: Highly organised and strictly focused on meeting timeframes.
- Work Ethic: High levels of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Experience: Background working within an estate agency maintenance division or a large property management company is highly desirable.
- Licence: Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have your own reliable transport/tools.
- The successful candidate will be required to provide or undergo a DBS check
