Following a period of learner growth, we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable specialist in digital technologies who can share their expertise and enthusiasm with students preparing to enter the fast‑growing digital sector.
The successful candidate will primarily deliver teaching across our computing provision, including Level 2 programmes, the T Level Foundation Year and T Level programmes, with a particular focus on the T Level in Digital Software Development. There may also be opportunities to contribute to elements of Digital Support and Security delivery where appropriate.
We are particularly interested in applicants with specialist skills in software development including the following areas:
- Software Development and Programming, including Python as a primary language, with experience in languages such as C#, JavaScript and SQL.
- Full‑Stack or Application Development, including front‑end and back‑end development, databases, APIs and user‑focused interface design.
- Software Testing and Quality Assurance, including debugging, testing strategies and secure‑by‑design principles
- Cyber Security and Digital Support (desirable), including awareness of security risks, secure systems, user support, networks and operating systems.
- Knowledge of cloud computing would be an advantage, Data and Data‑Driven Applications, including data handling, validation, analysis and visualisation using common tools and formats.
