Role Summary:
As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services across our client base. Working closely with Care Coordinator/s and the wider care team, you will provide strong leadership, ensuring that care is safe,responsive, and compliant with regulatory requirements. You’ll play a key role in developing staff, managing risk, and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction and safeguarding. You will work closely with the Coordinators and Registered Manager to ensure high standards of care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service.
- Lead, supervise, and develop Care Coordinators, Senior Carers, and Care Staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Oversee care planning, rota management, service delivery, and quality assurance activities, including audits, spot checks, and staff supervision.
- Act as a key point of escalation for safeguarding concerns, complex care issues, complaints, and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, clients, families, and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Support recruitment, staff retention, training, and continuous professional development across the team.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and support the achievement of business objectives.

Essential Requirements
- Level 5 NVQ in health and social care OR willingness to work towards
- Experience in a senior care role (e.g. Care Coordinator or Team Leader)
- Understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle with business insurance
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and out-of-hours where needed depending on the needs of the business.
