Glenholme Specialist is looking for a dedicated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our friendly and supportive team at Saltdean House.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. As a Care Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day leadership across our supported living services, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered while supporting and developing your team.

- Lead, motivate and support a team of Support Workers, promoting high standards of care and professionalism.

Deliver effective supervision, coaching and guidance to team members.

Develop, review and implement person-centred care and support plans alongside healthcare professionals, individuals and their families.

Monitor the quality of care provided, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Build positive relationships with the people we support, their families, advocates and external professionals.

Provide hands-on support where required, including personal care, medication administration and support with daily living activities.

Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and company policies.

Promote independence, dignity, choice and inclusion for every individual we support.
- Previous experience as a Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or in a similar supervisory role within health and social care.

Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, complex needs and behaviours of concern is desirable.

A caring, compassionate and person-centred approach.

Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Good knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and relevant legislation.

Flexibility to work a rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
