Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in various manual tasks related to landscape maintenance, construction, and general site upkeep. Duties
- Assisting with landscape , block paving , slabbing, brickwork , fencing.
- Operating hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shovels to prepare sites for planting or construction
- Using power tools and machinery including excavators and irrigation systems under supervision
- Supporting construction activities by moving materials, digging trenches, and assisting with site preparation
- Maintaining equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
- Performing general site cleaning and organisation to uphold health and safety standards
- Assisting with horticultural tasks such as planting, watering, and soil preparation
- Supporting maintenance activities across various projects as required
Skills
- Experience or knowledge in landscape and construction labouring
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and gardening tasks
- Ability to perform physical labour including lifting, digging, and operating machinery safely
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining equipment and work areas
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites or outdoor work environments
