Job Overview
We are looking for an organised, proactive and reliable Operations & Admin Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the Head of Operations and helping to ensure the day-to-day running of the business remains organised and efficient.
The position combines administration, logistics and operational support. Responsibilities will include helping organise incoming containers, preparing customer samples and parcels, assisting with production scheduling, booking couriers, coordinating deliveries and making sure jobs are progressing as planned.
We need someone who is switched on, takes responsibility and is comfortable managing several different tasks at the same time.
This is an important position within the business and would suit someone who enjoys organisation, logistics and being involved in the practical day-to-day operation of a busy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Head of Operations with day-to-day planning
- Organising and checking stock arriving in containers
- Helping coordinate incoming container deliveries
- Organising and sending customer flooring samples
- Preparing and packing sample packs, parcels and other goods
- Booking couriers and arranging collections
- Coordinating customer deliveries and transport
- Helping prepare production schedules
- Planning which products are being manufactured and on which days
- Keeping track of orders and ensuring jobs are progressing correctly
- Liaising between the office, warehouse and production teams
- Updating internal records and keeping paperwork organised
- Ensuring orders and deliveries are processed accurately and on time
- Dealing with courier or delivery issues when they arise
- Assisting with general administration
- Supporting other areas of the business when required

Previous experience in administration, logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, transport or operations would be useful, although attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.
