Job Overview
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness, washing dishes and kitchen equipment. The position is part time starting from 8am to 3pm on a Thursday and Friday, and in addition to cover other kitchen staff holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas within the kitchen.
- Organising and storing clean items appropriately to ensure easy access during service.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently and responsibly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
