What You'll Be Doing
You'll deliver goods safely throughout the North of England using vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. When not driving, you'll work in our Newcastle warehouse handling stock and processing orders.
Key responsibilities include:

Planning efficient delivery routes and ensuring timely, safe deliveries

Conducting daily vehicle checks and maintaining roadworthiness

Handling fragile packages with care and some heavy lifting of gas cylinders

Communicating with customers about delivery updates

Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation

Unloading, sorting, stacking and storing warehouse goods

Picking and packing orders for customers

Following all health and safety requirements
What You Need
You'll need a good standard of education including maths and English, plus proven driving experience with up to 3.5 tonne vehicles. A full UK driving licence is required.
A Forklift Truck Licence would be an advantage, however, training can be provided.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the Company Out of Hours Standby Service on a rostered basis, which includes cover over Bank and Statutory Days Holiday.
