About This Role
As our Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key role in preparing and presenting consistently high-quality dishes across your section. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll help deliver smooth service, maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards, and make sure every plate reflects the care our guests expect.
You’ll take ownership of your section, and manage service calmly and efficiently. You’ll also support less-experienced colleagues, help reduce waste and contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or as a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
- Strong cooking skills and a passion for producing consistently high-quality food.
- Confidence running a kitchen section through preparation and service.
- Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
- Able to organise mise en place, prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure.
- A positive team player who is willing to support and develop colleagues.
- Reliable, flexible and committed to high standards.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Level 2 Food Safety qualification.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Previous hotel or hospitality group experience.
- A relevant professional cookery qualification.
- Experience with stock rotation, portion control and reducing food waste.
- Experience contributing to menu development or daily specials.
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
- Knowledge of HACCP and allergen management.
- Experience supporting apprentices or junior chefs.
- Experience using kitchen ordering or stock management systems.
