An exciting opportunity has become available for an accomplished Head Teacher to lead a well-established international secondary school in Lahore, Pakistan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educational leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional standards of teaching, learning and student achievement within a thriving international environment.
This post is designed for an experienced school leader and is not suitable for teachers in the early stages of their career. Applicants must already have experience as a Head Teacher of a mixed secondary school, along with a recognised teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Starting in September on a permanent basis, this role offers the opportunity to lead a successful school with a clear vision for continued excellence and development.
The Role
As Head Teacher, you will provide outstanding strategic and operational leadership, ensuring high expectations across teaching, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding and student outcomes. You will work closely with senior leaders and governors to shape the future direction of the school while creating a culture where both students and staff can thrive.
You will be responsible for maintaining high academic standards, developing staff, driving school improvement initiatives and ensuring the school continues to provide an outstanding educational experience for every learner.
The successful Head Teacher will have:
- Proven experience as a Head Teacher of a mixed secondary school (essential)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Extensive senior leadership experience within secondary education
- A strong record of leading whole-school improvement and raising attainment
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Experience managing and developing large teaching teams
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding and statutory responsibilities
- The ability to inspire confidence amongst students, staff and parents
- Experience within an international or British curriculum school would be beneficial
