Duties
- Welcome guests and assist with their arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Manage guest flow and provide guidance throughout the event space
- Support event setup and breakdown, including assisting with organising equipment and materials
- Address guest enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring high standards of guest service
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of event areas during and after functions
- Collaborate with management to ensure event operations run smoothly
- Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for all attendees and staff
- Assist with managing event schedules, coordinating with vendors, performers, or other stakeholders as required
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, management, or guest services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required
