Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly emptying bins, replenishing supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and consistently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution.
- Use janitorial equipment safely and effectively, ensuring proper handling and storage at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and correct chemical handling procedures.
- Support team members with additional cleaning duties during busy periods or special events as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safe chemical handling practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues clearly and working collaboratively with team members.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods comfortably.
