Part-Time Sous Chef
We’re looking for a skilled, reliable Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in Hackney for 3 days per week.
We’re an independent neighbourhood cafe focused on seasonal ingredients, thoughtful cooking and consistently good food. Our menu changes regularly, taking inspiration from what’s available and at its best, with an emphasis on fresh produce, quality ingredients and simple food done well.
This is a hands on role in a small kitchen where you’ll need to be confident working independently as well as alongside the Head Chef. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cooking, takes pride in their work and can stay calm and focused when things get busy.
The role
You’ll be involved in all aspects of kitchen operations, from prep through to service. You’ll help maintain high standards across the kitchen while ensuring every dish leaving the pass is something you’re proud of.

- Can confidently work independently and make good decisions when needed
- Thrives under pressure and maintains high standards during busy services

Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
