The role
As a Butcher, you'll play an important role in producing the high-quality products our customers expect. Working as part of our production team, you'll ensure every product is prepared to the highest standards of quality, food safety and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing meat to customer specifications
- Ensuring all products meet our quality standards before packing
- Packing and scanning products ready for distribution
- Following all food safety, hygiene and Health & Safety procedures
- Preventing cross-contamination by following correct working practices
- Reporting any product quality or equipment issues to your Supervisor
- Ensuring stock is correctly rotated
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
About you
You'll be someone who:
- Has previous butchery experience
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Understands the importance of food safety and hygiene
- Works well as part of a team
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Can work accurately in a fast-paced production environment
Food Hygiene knowledge would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
