Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Front of House team. As a member of our Front of House staff, you will be the face of The Carpenters Arms, ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout their visit.
We have flexibility in hours with part and full time positions available; weekend and evening availability is essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating guests promptly and courteously.
- Taking and serving orders accurately and efficiently.
- Providing detailed knowledge of the menu and specials to assist guests with their choices.
- Handling payments and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensuring the dining and bar areas are clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times.
- Addressing any guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Upholding the highest standards of customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
