For 25 years, we have supported practitioners, clinics and wholesale partners across the UK with trusted products, professional support and reliable service. We closely work with Meridius Medical GmbH, a sister-company in Germany. It is the sole exclusive distributor of DongBang acupuncture needles, and owner of trademarks, ORCA® and MERIDIUS®. Both companies handle same line of products.
About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day activities of AcuPrime and Meridius Medical.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining administration, e-commerce support, customer service, and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will help ensure smooth business processes across our online sales channels, order fulfilment, inventory management, and customer communications.
This position would suit someone who enjoys structured tasks, working with product information and systems, and contributing to a small, collaborative international team. The role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience across operations, sales support, e-commerce, and B2C/B2B distribution.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce & Product Support
● Assist with website updates, product information, and online promotions.
● Maintain accurate product data, pricing information, and basic product content.
● Support online sales activities and product launches.
● Assist with creating simple marketing materials and product highlights when required.
Sales & Customer Support
● Process customer orders and support sales administration.
● Respond to customer enquiries regarding products, orders, and general information.
● Prepare quotations and assist with order processing.
● Coordinate order updates between customers, sales, and warehouse teams.
● Support customer follow-ups and ensure timely communication.
Warehouse & Inventory Support
● Assist with order picking, packing, processing, and dispatch.
● Support stock control activities and inventory tracking.
● Maintain accurate records relating to product information and stock movement.
● Assist with general operational tasks to ensure efficient daily workflows.
Digital & Marketing Support
● Assist with basic online promotions and product campaigns.
● Support social media activity when required.
● Create simple visuals and promotional materials.
● Contribute ideas to improve customer engagement and online presence.
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
● Organised, reliable, and detail-oriented.
● Comfortable working with systems, data, and structured processes.
● Able to manage repetitive administrative tasks accurately.
● Interested in e-commerce, sales support, logistics, or business operations.
● Physically capable of carrying out regular warehouse duties, including the safe lifting, moving, and handling of items up to 25kg.
● A good communicator with professional written and spoken English skills.
● Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business when required.
Ideal candidates may be entry-level or have up to 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in e-commerce, administration, customer service, warehouse operations, or sales support would be advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
